Pay Rate: $48 Location: Toronto ON Job Type: Contract We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst / Junior Product Owner to join the Fusion Transformation and Delivery team on a 12 months contract with possibility of extension. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing, designing, implementing, and supporting applications that align with business strategies. This role requires exceptional communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and a strong understanding of the agile project lifecycle.
The role is hybrid with 2 days in Downtown Toronto Office
Key Responsibilities Collaborate with key stakeholders across business functions to ensure technology solutions align with business strategies. Gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for developers and technical teams. Create and manage user stories, Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), and other project documentation. Conduct cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to guide system implementation decisions. Provide informed insights into business processes to identify and capitalize on opportunities for improvement. Serve as a liaison between business users and the IT organization to deliver technical solutions that meet user needs. Act as a project team member on multiple initiatives, ensuring deliverables align with project objectives. Support and refine complex business processes, driving efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications
Must-Have: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst and Product Owner. Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow. Skilled in creating user stories and Business Requirements Documents (BRDs). Degree or diploma in Business Administration, IT, or a related field. Familiarity with project lifecycles and workflows. Proficient in MS Outlook and MS Teams. Nice-to-Have: Knowledge of technology processes, including experience with developers and external vendors.
