Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Alexandria, VA Clearance: Must be eligible for a Secret Clearance Kwaan Bear Technology is seeking an experienced, mid-level Business Analyst to support our growing Business Development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with business development and senior management teams to analyze contract opportunities and perform research supporting the company’s business development objectives. This is an opportunity to gain expertise in Federal business development while contributing to the growth of an emerging technology firm. Responsibilities: + Coordinate management of the company’s business development pipeline to ensure currency, regular updates of opportunities, accurate status information and correct disposition of leads + Maintain and consistently update Business Development SharePoint site + Perform research of opportunities as directed, using public websites, Federal data sources, and subscription-based business development tools + Present reports showing results of analysis to corporate leadership, enabling them to make business decisions as a result of the presentation + Support additional business development activities including company marketing campaigns, conferences and trade shows + Support ad hoc research requests to support the company’s business development and growth activities Qualifications: + Bachelors’ Degree + 3-5 years of professional work experience involving business development, research, and analysis for Federal contracts + Knowledge of the business development life cycle, and understanding of Shipley or other business development processes (desired) + Experience in a fast-paced, small business environment + Exceptional time and task management skills + Ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities + Ability to successfully execute multiple tasks simultaneously + Ability to collaborate and work within a team + Strong writing skills to create and update business development artifacts + Dynamic interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of management + Strong work ethic; Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skill + Understanding of or experience with business development management tools including Deltek’s GovWin, Bloomberg Government’s BGov, or GovTribe (desired) + Understanding of or experience with Federal data sources including the System for Award Management (SAM), BetaSAM, Federal Procurement Data System or SBA’s Dynamic Small Business Search Tool (desired) + Knowledge of the Federal government, including Defense Department services and agencies, their organizational structures and missions (desired) Kwaan Bear Technology (KBT), is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Prohibits Discrimination and Harassment of Any Kind.
