Position Summary

Your main objective would be to support a dynamic team of Product Managers with market intelligence by translating data into business insights to support smart decisions. On top of being a data expert, your business acumen in market trends and activities would be expected to improve the overall performance and competitiveness of the Product Management Team.

Role and Responsibilities

Provide support to Product management and Sales team by data & market intelligence to drive smart decisionsPrepare sales forecasts and monitor sales performance and TIM (Total Investment to Market) related KPIsCollate and analyze information on industry developments, market trends, competitor dynamics, customers and consumer behavior in order to support informed business decisions and identify market opportunitiesProvide insights on competitor strategy, including strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and risksConduct broad data analysis to understand market, sales, vendor pricing by:- Brand portfolio analysis (regional and by market) and business reviews- Competitor strategy (pricing, positioning, NPD - price positioning, competitor set evaluation, unmet consumer needs)- Market/Industry Trends: New categories, new channels, new technologiesCreate regular, high quality PPT reports, dashboards and project reports maintaining a cohesive content and logical storyline, to reflect the information to the team and management in an effective mannerProvide insights and data based strategic improvement suggestions to team and managementMonitor and report market and competitor activities and impact, conduct market sizing and identify new markets and business opportunities.Take ownership of database and data system maintenance necessary for projects and department functions in collaboration with others

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum of 5-year experience in marketing research and/or analytics, preferably within electronics/technology industryStrong analytical skills and familiarity with major statistical and market research toolsAdvanced MS Excel, Microsoft Power BI, Power Point and presentation skillsProficiency in both, written and spoken, EnglishGood general understanding of Sales and Product ManagementAbility to deliver complex information in clear, simple and compelling mannerGood general business sense and interpersonal skills to communicate and influence  different internal stakeholdersDemonstrate positivity, discipline, commitment and strong work ethic within fast paced business environmentBachelor in information Management, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields is a bonus
