Business Analyst

A well-established organization is seeking a Procurement Systems Business Analyst to join their Integrated Communications Systems division located in Falls Church, VA. This role requires proficiency in managing Deltek Costpoint procurement and inventory modules and involves providing technical support to optimize procurement processes.

The division provides cutting-edge digital communications systems and engineering services that adhere to stringent standards and are versatile enough to meet the diverse needs of various agencies and the private sector.

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver technical support to the procurement team, with a focus on Costpoint Materials Modules, including Product Definition, Bills of Material, Inventory, and other related modules.Create and maintain product definitions and Bills of Materials.Monitor and adjust inventory levels, and produce status reports.Update the general ledger with financial values for inventory transactions.Assist the procurement team with system upgrades and integration into business systems.Collect user requests and translate them into clear requirements.Conduct gap analyses against ERP software solutions when necessary.Assess report enhancement requests to ensure they do not disrupt existing reports and provide input on new report requests.Resolve inventory and procurement issues, which may involve investigating data quality issues to identify corrective actions.Act as a liaison to procurement planning and purchasing, collaborating with cross-functional teams.Support the team during system reviews and audits.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer systems, logistics, or a related field.Over 5 years of experience with Deltek Costpoint administration, specifically in providing technical support for inventory and procurement modules.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Experience in the government contracting industry is preferred.Must be a U.S. Person under ITAR and EAR (i.e., U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or protected individual such as a refugee or asylee).

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $60.00/hr.
