Business Analyst - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Change and Transformation team at Mercer. This role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Wollongong and requires a hybrid work arrangement with at least three days of in office attendance.

As a Project Business Analyst you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions with your strategic thinking and demonstrated business analysis experience. Your efforts will enhance operational compliance and efficiency, ultimately benefiting superannuation members across Australia and New Zealand.

We will count on you to:

Adhere to the Change Office Framework and align to standard templates.

Perform planning activities to determine the best approach for requirements elicitation and documentation.

Analyze requirements and prepare business cases for new solutions or designs.

Manage requirements through the project lifecycle, ensuring traceability and stakeholder engagement to ensure a successful project outcome.

Support Delivery Partner activities and contribute to continuous improvement through peer reviews and mentoring.

What you need to have:

Proven experience in business analysis methodologies and tools.

Strong skills in stakeholder engagement and management.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Competence in requirements lifecycle management and strategy analysis.

Familiarity with Agile and Lean methodologies, as well as waterfall project delivery.

Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or ASFA accreditation.

What makes you stand out:

Previous experience in the financial services industry, particularly in superannuation.

IIBA qualifications such as CBAP or CCBA, and Agile Business Analyst Certification.

Experience with collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence.
