We are looking for a Business analyst to join our Worldwide Capacity Planning team (WWCP). Our team optimizes capacity across operations sites that help minimize customer wait time and variable costs.
The ideal candidate will possess an analytical mindset who will build a reporting infrastructure to support this organization. They will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and create visualizations/ analytical solutions/ reports that help achieve those needs
Key job responsibilities
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understanding their reporting requirements
- Understands business to suggest improvements on the requirements shared by business POCs
- Utilize analytical and statistical tools to create insights/ data visualizations which can be utilized by business POCs to drive right actions
- Work closely with data engineering teams to understand data pipelines and efficient usage of metrics
- Explore opportunities to leverage AI/ LLM which help summarize insights

About the team
Worldwide Capacity Planning optimizes capacity across operations sites that help minimize customer wait time and route customers to the associate who can best resolve their issue, on the first contact. We build forecasting models and optimization tools that help predict the hourly capacity requirement, including when there are new device or game launches, or when there is a special event, such as Prime Day.
Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 2+ years of complex Excel VBA macros writing experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with SQL or ETL
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Tableau
- Experience using very large datasets

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
