What is the opportunity?
In this role you will get the opportunity to join Royal Bank of Canada’s Digital team to enhance the Avion Rewards program. You will be responsible for business analysis activities on medium to large size projects where you will drive requirements planning, elicitation, analysis, documentation, and management. Ideal candidates will have strong agile experience, digital product experience and a background in financial services or loyalty programs.
What will you do?
Perform stakeholder analysis to identify impacted groups and stakeholder responsibilities.Develop requirements plans and accurate estimates for completion of requirements, continuously improving the level of detail and accuracy of estimates.Manage risks, assumptions and constraints for requirements, and communicate to appropriate partiesDefine the business analysis approach including tasks and deliverables based on the project and delivery methodology.Lead requirements prioritization and leverage techniques to identify business priorities.Facilitate collaborative sessions with large and diverse business stakeholder groups to drive requirements discovery, analysis, and review.Analyze and document detailed business requirements and system requirements using enterprise standard requirements methodology.Verify requirements for quality and validate requirements with the impacted stakeholders.Build and maintain a repository of reusable requirements documentation to support future initiatives, following the enterprise standards.Partner with 3rd party vendors to ensure that vendor requirements documentation:Resolve conflicts/issues on behalf of BA team and escalate as required.Support Design and Development activities by providing requirements clarifications.Support UAT and PIV activities including planning, defect triage, and root-cause analysis for requirements-related issues.Support the consistency of standards and adherence to enterprise requirements methodology within own BA team.What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
4-5 years of working experience as a Business Analyst and/or Business Systems Analyst with large Financial Institutions.Experience with user stories, business and systems specification, business context diagrams, business process maps, use cases and user story maps.Experience working on Digital (Online and Mobile) banking projectsExperience working on Agile projectsExperience in requirements elicitation techniques such as Document analysis, Interviews, Facilitated workshops, Observation, Prototyping, Focus groups, SurveysNice to have:
2+ years of working experience as a Business Analyst and/or Business Systems Analyst within Loyalty domain.Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Project Management Institute –Professional in Business Analysis Certification (PMI – PBA)Masters Certificate in Business AnalysisWhat’s in it for you?
