Business Analyst
**Overview:** The Business Analyst is a key enabler, advisor, and orchestrator for the HR Care team, comprised of Global People Care and Country Care. As an enabler, you will empower HR Care leaders by being the bridge between data and decision-making, translating complex HR data into clear, concise, and compelling narratives that drive strategic and tactical changes within HR Care. As an advisor, you will provide data-driven insights that align HR operations with the organization’s strategic vision and goals, with a particular focus on the KPIs of Efficiency, Employee Experience, and Cost to Serve. As an orchestrator, you will be the catalyst for process improvements and enhancements by collaborating with the right people to implement the necessary changes, ensuring continuous progress and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: **Operational /Strategic Support and Advisory:** Support the HR Care Team (Global People Care and Country Care) by analyzing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, enabling data-driven decisions and uncovering strategic growth opportunities Serve as a key advisor to the HR Care team, providing insights that drive the alignment of HR operations with the organization’s strategic vision and goals, particularly focusing on Efficiency, Employee Experience, and Cost to Serve. **KPI and Metrics Operationalization:** Partner with HR Care leaders to define and track KPIs aligned with business objectives and employee experience goals. Translate requirements (i.e., HR Care KPIs and metrics) into technical specifications for data reporting and analysis. **Data Management and Analysis:** Collect, clean, and consolidate HR data from various systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity. Conduct in-depth analysis of volume, cycle time, employee experience, and cost-to-serve data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Utilize statistical and data analysis techniques to derive meaningful insights. **Dashboard Development and Visualization:** Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive reports and dashboards that provide insights into key HR metrics using Tableau. Customize Tableau dashboards to cater to the specific needs of Global PeopleCare and Country Care. Conduct Tableau training sessions for team members, enhancing their ability to leverage data for strategic insights. Handle escalated disputes and feedback related to data and reporting, ensuring timely and effective resolution. **Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration:** Facilitate data-driven decision-making and foster a culture of continuous improvement within HR Care. Build and maintain strong relationships with Global PeopleCare, Country Care, and other stakeholders. Communicate effectively with all levels, translating technical concepts into easily understandable language. **Budget Management:** Assists in overseeing HR operations budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources, monitoring expenditures, and providing financial insights to optimize HR initiatives. **Required Qualifications:** **Education:** Bachelor's degree in business, Operations Management, HR, or a related field **Experience:** 3-5 years of experience in business operations, data analysis, and process optimization, with a focus on HR or shared services. **Project Management:** Experience in project management and process improvement, with a strong understanding of key methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma and Agile, enabling efficient workflow optimization and continuous improvement **Problem-Solving:** Strong analytical skills with a focus on improving operational efficiency and effectiveness. **Technical Skills:** Expertise in Tableau, including dashboard creation and conducting training sessions; proficiency in other data analysis tools such as Excel, and Power Query. **Communication:** Strong ability to deliver insights that are clear, concise, and drive strategic decisions across global teams. **Leadership:** Proven experience in leading projects and mentoring junior team members, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence. **Who we are:** At Pearson, our purpose is simple: to help people realize the life they imagine through learning.
