This is a hybrid role – three days per week in our Newcastle office.
As a Business Analyst within Sage for Copilot Factory Framework, you will play a pivotal role in driving the delivery and success of Sage Copilot. You will act as the bridge between our development team and our customers, ensuring that our features meet the needs of our customers and delivers exceptional value. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of both the market and the technical aspects of product development.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role you will:
• Collaborate with Product Management and cross-functional teams to lead feature discovery and assist the teams in successfully managing customer requirements and experiences.
• Define and communicate product requirements and rationale, build strong relationships with all stakeholders in particular, product management across Copilot and product engineering.
• Work closely with different product stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear and actionable items on the product backlog.
• Assist the Product Owner in defining and maintaining product backlog in Project management tools such as JIRA and maintaining key documentation on document repository tools.
• Liaise with Product Management to regularly review and refine the product roadmap to align with changing business priorities and market dynamics.
• Act as the primary point of contact for any questions or clarifications related to the factory framework.
• Monitor and report on the performance of our Factory Framework features, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Adopt rigor in all activity including use of tools, processes and methodologies such as Aha, JIRA, Agile.
• Balance competitive advantage, customer need and pure innovation
Skills & Experience:
• Experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in software development or tech organisations. SaaS product experience preferred.
• Experience of working with data / Machine Learning models / AI is preferred.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify key business requirements whilst using data and metrics to drive informed decisions.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience working in an agile environment including tools such as JIRA, Confluence etc.
• Experience of working with teams across multiple geographical locations.
• Cross-functional team experience including working with UX, Design and Customer Research Teams is preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and requirements to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
