Business Analyst
Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Business Analyst in the Financial Services industry, located in New York. The role involves an array of responsibilities that require a high level of organization, detail-orientation, and strong analytical skills. Responsibilities: • Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications • Maintain precise customer credit records • Manage and review project requirements, ensuring clarity and conciseness • Translate business needs into technical language and address technical issues • Collaborate with project designers and architects to ensure alignment with project requirements • Participate in multiple projects, managing project documentation, adjusting schedules as necessary, and ensuring efficient delivery of project tasks and milestones • Foster strong relationships with customers and suppliers • Collaborate with the test team to ensure tests adequately cover the requirements • Run User Acceptance Tests and validate detailed functional specifications • Deliver elements of system design, including data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, and other detailed deliverables • Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements. Requirements • Demonstrable proficiency in Design and Specification within the financial services industry • Extensive experience in Configuration Management and Business Analysis • Ability to understand and work with various modules and handle technical issues • Proven track record in delivering quality deliverables on time • Degree in Computer Sciences or a related field • Experience in creating and managing Business Requirement Documents and Validation Plans • Track record of setting and achieving milestones in a timely manner • Knowledge of triggers and time delivery concepts • Experience in conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) • Proficiency in Data Migration processes • Ability to design and implement wireframes • Familiarity with ITIL Processes and Project Documentation • Ability to understand and implement business rules • Proven ability to translate business needs into functional requirements • Strong skills in Supplier Relationship Management • Expertise in BusinessObjects Technologies • Experience with user exits in software applications • Ability to create comprehensive and clear functional specifications.
