You Are:

A Business Analyst responsible for looking over large amounts of data, put together reports and presentations for leadership teams. Additionally, the Business Analyst also works with various software programs to help formulate proper workflows and templates.

 

The opportunity:

·       Creating a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for a business

·       Create and manage requirements as Agile stories and Acceptance criteria in Jira.

·       Facilitate requirements gathering meetings, facilitation of small and large groups to ensure full understanding of the requirements and acceptance criteria.

·       Promote adaptive planning, evolutionary development and delivery and encourages a rapid and flexible response to change.

·       Discuss the expectations and the pain points of the product with the business users.

·       Develop and communicate the vision of the product being developed.

·       Translate the expectations and preferences of the end users into User Stories.

·       Prioritize the requirements/User Stories based on their business value and risks.

·       Define the goals of Sprints and Releases.

·       Communicate with the business users and stakeholders on a regular basis to provide feedback on progress of the implementation of the vision.

·       Regularly connects with the business users and sponsors to keep a check on business priority.

·       Represent the end users to explain/clarify the requirements to the team and provide feedback on the stories developed

·       Revisit and update Management Plan during Sprint 0 as necessary.

·       Communicate Management Plan changes to all affected stakeholders.

·       Ensure that the Product Backlog contains enough items to be developed at all times.

·       Participate in Change Control Board meetings for Change Requests Approvals.

·       Support and promote the Agile impact on people, processes and tools, and based on iterative, time boxed and an incremental approach

·       Collaborate with the TPO, Project Manager, Development manager to coordinate project schedules, budgets, and staffing.

·       In an Agile environment, work with the Scrum Master and other product and project management to ensure stakeholder satisfaction and return on investment.

 

 

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

 

What you need:

·       Must have knowledge of basic computer programs and concepts such as scaling, database analyses, and software interfaces

·       Experience on user stories, use cases, meeting minutes, Acceptance criteria, business requirements, functional requirements.

·       Experience with flowchart, UML design, others.

·       Experience in data management

·       Experience working in Agile under Scrum methodology, with industry tools for project planning like Jira, Confluence, LucidChart.

·       Must be proactive and technology passionate and have great communication skills to be able to discuss about designs with the technical teams and transmits ideas in a professional environment.

·       Must be self-managed and team oriented, must be able to coordinate his/her own time as well as plan ahead of tasks with other technical teams, and must be willing to seek for technical problems that the teams may be experience and proactive in looking for solutions.

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·       Excellent communication skills in dealing with colleagues, the management team, and external partners

·       A keen eye for detail that helps efficiently detect and solve problems

·       Analytical thinking skills

·       Ability to build strong client and business relationships

·       Excellent written and spoken English skills (>85%).
