We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst in the banking sector to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between business objectives and technological solutions. You will analyze and document business requirements, workflows, and processes to find opportunities for improvement in our banking systems. Your expertise will guide the design and implementation of solutions that enhance our operational efficiency and customer service capabilities. Working closely with multi-functional teams, including IT, compliance, and customer service, you will ensure that all solutions align with strategic business goals.
In this role, you willCoordinates and facilitates triaging issues across application environments.
Gather and document business requirements from collaborators in the banking sector. Analyze existing banking systems and processes to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement effective technology solutions. Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather collaborator feedback and validate solutions. Conduct gap analyses to determine discrepancies between current processes and desired outcomes. Create process maps, flowcharts, and documentation to visualize solutions and improvements. Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.What you’ll need to succeed (required skills)
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 3+ years experience as a Business System Analyst in the banking or financial services industry. Solid understanding of banking processes, regulations, and systems. Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall. Good interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with collaborators at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in data interpretation and reporting. Experience with requirement gathering, documentation, and user acceptance testing using Jira.What will help you stand out (preferred skills)
