Business Analyst - Business Intelligence Insights & Automation (Corporate & Investment Banking)

As a Business Analyst - Business Intelligence Insights & Automation within Chase Merchant Services, you will support operational activities and change initiatives by leveraging data and processes to deliver results. You will conduct analysis, uncover patterns, and design solutions in support of the implementation of business strategies. This role provides an opportunity to contribute to projects and initiatives, guide less experienced team members, and work in a fast-paced environment. 

Job Responsibilities:

Researches, gathers, and prepares information for analysis and reporting independently. Analyzes data to identify problems and develop solutions. Builds, rebuilds, and/or maintains new or existing databases, such as capacity models. Supports aspects of the process automation engagements including requirements gathering, solution architecture, solution development, testing, deployment, and continuous process improvement while adhering to the firm’s standards and controls  Utilizes intelligent automation solutions which allows the team to automate functions and deliver benefits including capacity creation, risk reduction, and the streamlining of operational processes Contributes to or supports projects and initiatives. Guides less experienced team members.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

Minimum 2 years in financial services performing roles of considerable complexity, advanced research or investigative work related experience required Strong research and Analytical skills Advanced computer skills including use of multiple tools and applications as well as MS Office Suite Knowledge of one or multiple intelligence automation applications or  Basic Programming Language (Tableau, Python and/Alteryx) Accuracy and attention to detail Excellent communication skills (verbal and in writing) Problem solving / critical thinking skills and ability to exercise independent judgment Experience working in a fast paced environment under pressure and with high volume requests
