Description : Milwaukee County is seeking anexperienced, high-energy business analyst for initiatives within the Department of Administrative Services - Information Management Services Divisionproject portfolio. Responsibilities will be to assist withadditional deployments of new ERP modules (Accounts Payable, Contracts, Suppliers) and other selected initiatives to improve end user productivity in Finance and Supply Chain. PO is through 12/31/2022. Project duration expected to be through end of 12/31/2023. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business processes as it relates to the systems and user needs. Formulates systems business processes to parallelto support overall business strategies. Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective. Ability to communicate effectively with users and departmental management.Experience with identifying solutions to business problems using process reengineering and technology. Familiar with industry standards, current and emerging technologies, and business process mapping, and reengineering. Familiar with current and emerging technologies and standards. Prepares solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc. Develops RFPs. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goalsEffective at following plans and completing goals on time and on budget. Independently, At ease at working independently and able to performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Required Qualifications 1. Eight Five or more years of experience with business analysis or related area. 2. Four Years Knowledge of Finance practices and Systems with focus on any or all of accounts payable, global ledger, fixed assets, cash, accounts receivable, and billing, and/ or accounts payable modules. 3. Understanding of business processes and process mapping. 4. Excellent communication skills including experience presenting to Executive Leadership. 5. Ability to develop, and document and communicate effective business requirements with traceability to test cases. 6. Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and take on additional responsibilities as required by the position. Desired Qualifications 1. 2 Years of Previous government experience 2. Six Sigma, Lean or Equivalent Process ReengineeringCertification 3. Prior experience with Jira software 4. Prior experience with Lawson or Infor CloudSuite Financials 5.
