Description We are offering an opportunity for a Business Analyst with experience Derivatives Trading to join our team in the finance industry in West Des Moines, Iowa. You will be tasked with conducting comprehensive business analysis, designing and documenting business process workflows, and communicating requirements for the technology team. This role involves maintaining regular communication with relevant stakeholders regarding progress and providing solutions for the derivatives strategic program. Responsibilities: • Develop expertise in vendor platforms, business process workflows, and system integration flows • Redesign existing processes to enhance efficiency • Foster effective coordination between the business and IT on system maintenance and support • Analyze, document, and manage system requirements, business process flows, and data flows • Employ Agile methodology to collaborate with in-house technology teams in delivering new or improved system capabilities • Maintain the system backlog and prioritize system development • Manage the system feature backlog with detailed specifications comprehensible by relevant teams • Utilize skills such as Atlassian Jira, CRM, Gap Analysis, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word to perform duties effectively • Leverage knowledge of Agile Scrum, Business Process Functions, and Business Requirement Document in carrying out responsibilities • Use AB Testing and Claim Administration skills to ensure optimal performance. Requirements ** Must have experience and undertanding of Derivatives Trading ** • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira as it is essential for tracking and managing projects • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to manage business relationships and data • Capable of performing Gap Analysis to identify and bridge performance discrepancies • Skilled in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and visualization • Ability to use Microsoft Word for document creation and management • Knowledge of AB Testing to compare two versions of a webpage or other user experience to determine which performs better • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology for efficient project management • Understanding of Business Process Functions to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness • Experience in creating Business Requirement Documents (BRD) to communicate the needs and expectations of the business • Experience in Claim Administration to manage and process claims effectively.
