We have a great opportunity for a Operations (Business) Analyst I based out of Bryn Mawr, PA. This role provides technical and analytical expertise, as well as troubleshoots issues and problems that arise. The analyst manages and monitors field operations utilizing various technology systems. Lastly, they research best practices and support developing solutions for the company’s operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Analyze operations-related data, including collecting, cleaning, and interpreting data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support operational decision-making and improvement opportunities.Manage and maintain data systems, ensuring data accuracy, functionality, and accessibility.Clearly and concisely state problems, communicate data insights, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders through written reports, presentations, and verbal discussions to ensure understanding and informed decision-makingProvide direct support to internal users on workload and resource planning. and assistance with data-related issues. Specifically, develop and utilize strong working knowledge and expertise in the company’s work order and asset management platforms and related mobile applications to support operations staff.Support dispatching and customer service functions using a deep understanding of customer services, call center and service order dispatch functions’ software and hardware operational needs.Work closely with operations, finance, regulatory, and IT teams to understand business needs and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights to department staff through to senior managementSupport the integration of new data sources and tools to enhance analytics capabilities including documenting business, technical and user requirements through to testing and implementation.Develop and lead training efforts for operations staff to support the effective use of the company’s enterprise asset management, work order management system, mobile applications, and other Aqua software.Take initiative in developing a training program meant to improve Operation’s understanding of the use of data systems, and data (in order to improve decision-making across the business).Support the operations performance management by identifying key metricsCreate and maintain sustainable reporting that drives continuous improvement and operational excellence.Participates in cross-functional teams with management and other departments as needed, to evaluate business processes to identify trends, issues, risks, opportunities, potential solutions or enhancements.Works as a liaison between operations users and IT to review, analyze, and evaluate user needs and create systems solutions that support overall business strategies.Represents department and business operations on team projects.Performs other assignments as required.QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree is required with a preferred concentration in engineering, statistics, business, data science, GIS or another discipline.2-4 years of related experience.Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint applications. Strong use and knowledge of Excel.Knowledge of SQL preferred, but not requiredUnderstanding data visualization principles and best practicesKnowledge and proficient use of SAP and ESRI GIS software is desirable, but not required.Must have good communication and organization skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsMust be willing to travel up to 15% of time including overnight trips.Be curious, diligent, and open-mindedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Strong working knowledge and expertise in the company’s field management and dispatch application, work order management system and supporting mobile platforms.Proficient in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and PowerPoint applications.
