Business Analyst - Ground Handling

The Business Analysis (BA) team will own the P&L for the units and will be a Business Partner to each Business Unit RVP. The role is responsible for performing various monthly analyses on business unit activities along with preparing all presentations related to the financials for the business unit. The BA is required to lead the monthly P&L reviews for his or her Business Unit and ensure all variances are thoroughly investigated and explained. The role will be responsible for annual budgeting, long-range planning, and compiling new business pro forma financial reviews of future sales opportunities for the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing reports and analyses to drive key business decisions.Compile the information and prepare monthly P&L variance analyses and annual forecast.Lead the budgeting and long-range planning process for the business unit assigned.Work closely with Staff Planning, Sales Directors and General Ledger teams.Create financial proformas to determine the profitability of new contracts and rate changes.Perform statistical analyses to determine various trends in marketing, sales, and operations.Research and analyze historical data; develop cost models to support proposal efforts.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business administration.5+ years of business/financial analysis experience.Must have analytical background and passion for analysis.Must pass a drug test and background check.

BACKGROUND QUALIFICATIONS:

Exhibit attention to detail, be deadline-oriented, and possess strong communication skills.Capable of working in a team-oriented environment.Highly motivated and self-starter.Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products, preferably with experience in Workday.Extensive proficiency with Excel modeling, formulas, and EssBase/SmartView preferred
