Business Analyst (Hybrid)
Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Business Analyst with experience in Business Analyst and Capture Generic. Our business analysts have a passion for high-quality, reliability, and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Location: Mountain Lakes, NJ, USA (Hybrid)

Responsibilities: Gather and analyze data to identify business needs and opportunities. Develop and document business requirements and functional specifications. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives. Conduct market research and analyze industry trends. Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings. Identify and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities. Assist with project management tasks, including planning, scheduling, and tracking progress. Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather requirements and present findings. Ensure solutions align with business goals and objectives. Provide ongoing support and training to end-users. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field. (6+ years). Business Analyst and Capture Generic. Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Exhibit strong leadership and team management abilities. Have a solid understanding of software development methodologies and best practices. Show proficiency in translating business requirements into technical solutions. Display good communication and interpersonal skills. Have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on time. Be adept at working in a hybrid work model and managing remote teams effectively. Demonstrate the ability to stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. Possess a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Show the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Exhibit a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues. Have a strong focus on achieving project goals and contributing to the company’s success. Salary and compensationThe annual salary for this position is between $68,442K – $114K depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
