This position will support multiple assigned projects aimed at delivering efficiencies, enhancements and new solutions & services that meet company cost, quality, and strategic targets. The role will predominately focus on Business Process Analysis and will primarily be working to understand any problems or opportunities by defining current processes and requirements, researching best practices, and identifying recommendations and documenting process improvements and functional specifications.
Accountabilities:
Analyse and document requirements and business processes.Assist in development of system specifications, process flows and functional user documentationMaintain stakeholder expectations and raise appropriate issues to project managers as necessary.Assist in gathering business requirements and translate them into user stories/functional specifications.Identify and document process improvements and functional specifications based on research of best practices and analysis of work group data.Contribute to the development of new processes and solutionsFollow established business processes, protocols, and quality standards in the development and deployment of solutions.Other duties as assigned.Qualification:
BS/BA degree; ISEB-qualified Business Analyst or Lean Six Sigma certification preferred1+ years of IT business analyst experience Previous experience of working in an agile environment and using recognized development methodology, e.g., Agile, SCRUM, and KANBANProficient in documenting As-Is/To-Be processes and undertaking Gap AnalysisUnderstanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).Business requirements gathering.Knowledge and prior use of UML modelling language. Strong communication skills that allow for effective communication across all levels of the organization. Written communication skills including process documentation. Basic oral and written communication skills.
