Job Summary
Provides entry-level support to the program office in development of budget, schedule and risks. Maintains a detailed knowledge of the required compliance documentation. Maintains and updates electronic files, record and data. Maintains databases current in support of project control and other applicable business activities.
Duties and Responsibilities
+ Initiate sustaining support purchase requests through the AEGIS and NASA procurement systems to include warranty protection, vendor subscriptions, maintenance agreements, sustaining support, and professional services.
+ Manage contract renewals, including hardware, software, and communication licenses to prevent disruptions.
+ Coordinate with NASA and AEGIS project managers and technical teams to align procurement activities with project requirements.
+ Plan, prioritize, and manage procurement activities to meet project timelines and objectives.
+ Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.
+ Maintain a comprehensive inventory, electronic files, records, and status in SharePoint to ensure readiness and accuracy.
+ Establish and maintain strong relationships with NASA customers, the AEGIS team, and vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
+ Monitor vendor performance and ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met.
+ Collaborate with the team to ensure all approval workflows, procurement tasks and financial transactions are accurate and timely.
+ Use appropriate communication channels to disseminate procurement information, status, and updates in a timely manner.
+ Manage emergency procurement needs in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Required Minimum Education
+ Bachelor's degree
Required Skills, Qualifications, Technical Experience, Certifications, etc.
+ Organizational and planning skills with attention to detail.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships.
+ Experience using the Microsoft suite of applications, including Excel, Word, Teams, Exchange, and SharePoint.
+ Basic principles of finance, accounting, procurement, business, and information technology.
+ U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass a NASA background investigation

+ Previous experience in procurement and vendor management
