JOB SUMMARY

The Business Analyst II is an advocate on behalf of business process owners and external partners as it concerns CDCN’s (Consumer Direct Care Network), custom developed ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) platform as well as: Various web-based portals, mobile applications, data warehouse, reporting and integrations to the many complex systems at CDCN. The Business Analyst II will be a liaison between the Software Engineering Team(s) both at CDCN and abroad, to comprehend the needs of the business, create software requirements, provide clarification and guidance throughout the organization. This position will be an informative resource throughout the entire SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) from design to release and adoption. This position requires constant communication (both oral and written), throughout most of the CDCN organization in clear and concise format. The goal of this position is to have a positive impact on the various systems and services supporting the Home Health Care industry for claims, payroll, tasks and people management in a way that empowers care providers, improves quality of care and ultimately quality of life for thousands of people across the country. This position offers the unique opportunity to be exposed to the entire Microsoft Cloud stack including 100% management of the development through Azure Dev Ops. This unique position will also collaborate closely with our partner team at Microsoft and, provides exposure to bleeding-edge cloud technology straight from the source.

 

JOB DUTIES


Maintain a constant, deep-level understanding of CDCN’s business process flows across multiple, critical functional areas Be an advocate on behalf of the business process owners and managers to the development teams and visa versa Document the needs of business managers and process owners in clear, concise, and actionable User Stories Document existing functional process flows in BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) format Create mockups using any number of industry standard UX tools Document existing systems at a high-level in UML (Unified Modeling Language) format Help manage and communicate sprint lists, commitments, and software releases out to the business managers and process owners Hold / organize clarification, discovery and demo meetings and trainings for your peers, Software Engineering teams and various Business teams Provide clarification on user story requirements, BPMN and UML documentation to the testing and support teams Think creatively about software solutions and alternatives to current business processes from a continuous improvement perspective Be a solutions provider  

 QUALIFICATIONS


Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Business Administration, Business Management, Finance or Accounting, Health Care Information Management, Computer Information Systems, Analytics, Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent experience (4 years or more) 3 years of experience transforming business needs into actionable software development requirements or user stories Proven track record of clearly written actionable requirements that have seen completion of development and adoption of the finished solution by the business 1 year of experience designing or defining both UX (User Experience) flows, ERDs (Entity Relationship Diagrams), BPMNs (Business Process Model and Notation) diagrams  

The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties. The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office. Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the workday.
