Job Title: Business Analyst II Job Description We are seeking a Business Analyst II to review, analyze, and complete government grant proposals. The successful candidate will complete detailed state grant applications to secure funding as part of the Broadband, Equity, Access, and Development program. This role requires 4-6 years of experience in corporate strategy, business administration, or a related area, preferably including work with public administration or government-funded projects. The candidate should demonstrate strong project ownership and the ability to navigate complex bureaucratic processes. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Responsibilities + Review and analyze government grant proposals. + Complete detailed state grant applications to secure funding. + Navigate complex bureaucratic processes. + Plan and accomplish goals using experience and judgment. + Perform a variety of complicated tasks. + Lead and direct the work of others when necessary. + Report directly to a project lead or manager. Essential Skills + 4-6 years of experience in corporate strategy, business administration, or a related area. + Experience with public administration or government-funded projects. + Strong project ownership skills. + Ability to navigate complex bureaucratic processes. + Experience in reviewing, analyzing, and completing business proposals. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word. + Strong decision-making skills. + Clear communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Due to applicable export control laws and regulations Work Environment This position is onsite 5 days per week, Monday through Friday, with core hours from 9 AM to 5 PM PST. The work location is in Redmond, WA, US. The nature of the work is appropriate for a temporary grant writer, with each application taking up to 5 days for review, drafting responses, coordinating with stakeholders, and gaining approval. Extensions and potential conversions may be possible. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
