Join our world-class, innovative team today. **Position Specific Description** Business Analyst role is responsible for analyzing and developing improvements to business processes and identifying and facilitating the creation of appropriate reporting around each function. This role will serve as the subject matter expert in areas of Invoice audits, billing disputes, TXSET EDI, Texas protocol, and procedures. This role requires partnering interaction with Customer Service, Sales, Credit and Collections team, to meet required internal billing timeliness and accuracy service levels. Job Duties & Responsibilities • Conducts analyses and prepares reports that provide operation and/or technical support to business operations. • Conducts quantitative and qualitative research to support medium to large special projects. • Assists with process design and modification for continuous business improvement. • Provide frequent and consistent communication to Management staff on deliverables and status updates. • Ensures compliance of rules and regulations across all customer segments in all states • Performs other job-related duties as assigned. • Responsible for accurate and timely processing of complex billing invoices for commercial and Residential complex customers. • Assist with billing validation process as needed. • Conduct periodic reviews of loss factors, rate code mapping, compliance customer documents sent to customers, etc. • Contributes to maintain internal control processes and procedures to ensure timely and accurate billing of complex billing customers. • Serves as a liaison to Sales and Settlements groups to ensure proper alignment, expectations, and calculations of Commercial Early Termination Fee. • Creating and maintaining a log of daily billing exceptions. • Works closely with the Director of Retail Operations for special and high priority projects as well as testing and troubleshooting system enhancements and recent technology that will affect the day to day in the department. • Analyzing and troubleshooting customer questions and concerns including working with other departments to ensure the best customer service interaction possible. • Support other analysts on the team as well as their responsibilities when necessary for all customer segments.   **Job Overview** Employees in this role conduct complex operational analyses and lead medium to large project teams that support informed decision making within the business unit. **Job Duties & Responsibilities** + Conducts analyses and prepares reports that provide operation and/or technical support to business operations + Conducts quantitative and qualitative research to support medium to large special projects + Assists with process design and modification for continuous business improvement + Performs other job-related duties as assigned **Required Qualifications** + High School Grad / GED + Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience + Experience: 1+ years **Preferred Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree NextEra Energy offers a wide range of benefits to support our employees and their eligible family members.
