Our Opportunity:
The incumbent will play a pivotal role in Allianz Insurance Singapore's digital transformation, supporting business operations and strategic initiatives. This position focuses on documenting and enhancing IT systems and operational workflows, catering to individuals passionate about analyzing, optimizing, and automating technology infrastructure to drive business efficiency.
Key Responsibility Areas:
Business Process and IT System Analysis: Evaluate business processes and IT systems to identify technology needs and recommend operational improvements, by gathering and interpreting data. Operational Monitoring and Response: Monitor business operations and promptly address alerts, collaborating with team members and vendors to ensure timely resolution. Vendor Collaboration: Engage with vendors to understand proposed technological solutions and effectively communicate these to the business. Technology Gap Identification: Assist in identifying technology gaps and areas for improvement within the business. Documentation Support: Assist with documenting processes, solutions, and technical specifications. Requirements Gathering: Work on business requirements gathering, supporting teams to bridge gaps between business needs and IT solutions. Technical Specification Translation: Assist in translating business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications. Trend Analysis: Assist in analysing trends to proactively identify and address recurring technical issues. Project Participation: Participate and contribute in meetings to discuss project progress, business needs, and IT solutions. User Access Management: Conduct periodic user access reviews to ensure compliance with security policies and access controls. Process Automation Identification: Identify opportunities for process automation and develop recommendations to improve efficiency. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on automation initiatives and outcomes.
Qualifications & Capabilities:
Undergraduate with Bachelors in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field. Basic understanding of IT systems, networks, insurance process and principles. Hands on experience on tools like SNOW, Jira, Confluence, and Insurance software, is preferred. Attention to detail and patience when dealing with various queries. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment. Proficient in documentation and reporting. Prior exposure to Insurance business process is advantageous.
