The team you will be joining is a part of Charles River Development (or CRD), that became a part of State Street in 2018. CRD helps create enterprise investment management software solutions for large institutions in the areas of institutional investment, wealth management and hedge funds. Together we have created first open front-to-back platform - State Street Alpha, that was launched in 2019.

What you will be responsible for

As a Charles River Business Analyst Intern you will assist the Product Owner by:

Learning and maintaining a working knowledge of Charles River Investment Management product.Conducting research and analysis of the incoming client requirements and producing functional specification documents.Assisting with the product backlog creation and maintenance in Jira.Partnering with development to help develop, implement and refine features.Reviewing QA testcases and participating in test validations.Creating end user product documentation.Reproducing incoming client issues and coming up with steps to reproduce.Providing client beta testing support and educating personnel on capabilities of new product releases.Assisting implementation and support to resolve escalated client issues.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Enrollment in a graduate MBA program in the field of Finance, Business Strategy or Product Management or a Masters’ program in the field of Mathematical or Computational Finance0- 1 year of work experience in a relevant area.Experience with trading software, data transformation and integrations highly preferred.Experience with SQL and ETL tools like Kettle is a plus.Software development lifecycle experience and Agile methodology preferred.

Salary Range:

$15,600 - $58,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
