We are currently seeking a Business Analyst - IT Finance Optimization - HYBRID to join our team in Dallas, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).

The Business Analyst for IT Finance Optimization acts as a bridge between the IT and Finance teams, ensuring that IT solutions align with financial objectives and business requirements. The role focuses on identifying, analyzing, and optimizing processes related to financial management in IT, including budgeting, forecasting, cost allocation, and performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities: Business Analysis & Collaboration Collaborate with Finance, IT, and other business stakeholders to gather and document requirements related to financial processes. Work closely with IT teams to design and implement technology solutions for financial management and optimization. Serve as a liaison to ensure clear communication between technical teams and business users. Process Optimization Analyze existing financial processes in IT to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements. Develop workflows and process maps to enhance transparency and streamline operations. Advocate for automation and data-driven solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting and analysis. Financial Systems & Data Management Support the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of financial tools and systems used by IT. Ensure integration of IT financial systems with other enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, budgeting software). Assist in data validation, cleansing, and reporting to provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Reporting & Performance Analysis Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track IT spending, ROI, and financial performance metrics. Provide detailed financial analysis to support decision-making, including cost-benefit analysis and forecasting. Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, procedures, and reporting standards. Change Management Lead training sessions and develop user manuals for financial systems and tools. Support organizational change management efforts related to IT finance processes and tools. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, CFA, CPA, ITIL) is a plus. Minimum Experience: 3+ years experience in a business analyst role, preferably in IT and/or finance domains. 3+ years demonstrated experience in process improvement and financial optimization projects. Other Desired Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work with large datasets. Proficiency in financial analysis tools and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tableau, Power BI). Familiarity with IT financial management practices Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences. Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Jira, Confluence). Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Working Conditions:

Primarily office-based May require extended hours during financial reporting periods or project deadlines.
