TechnologyProviding expertise on Enterprise Monitoring platform and related solutions review, design, support and development for BMO Internal business users, providing automation and self-services as the target goal. This is including Interact with internal business users to understand the user requirements, providing matched solutions or designs for new solutions. Review the platform software compliance and End Of Life / End of Support report, plan the corresponding remediation and follow up , Design, generate, and preset monthly portfolio KPI & ROI reports. Understanding the various monitoring solutions in the shop and also in the market, and have the full hands-on knowledge & skills to demonstrate for internal business users to consume.
Collaborate with the application project team to set up solutions that match the requirements.
Participate in the technical analysis, design, planning and development work.
Analyze, Design, generating and present weekly, monthly quarterly platform utilization and consumption reports based on KPI and ROI.
Willing to carry out 24/7 application production support (on rotation with other team members).
Analyze, plan and follow up on multiple compliance report (patch, EOL, EOS) for on-prem and on-cloud components.
Integrate and maintain monitoring applications between other eco-systems.
Develop, test, and deploy solutions on the Self-service platform.
Provide production support and system adjustments iterations during project warranty periods.
Create and maintain system operations process (SOP) documentation, including all integrations.
Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
Works independently on a range of complex tasks, which may include unique situations.
Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications:
Foundational level of proficiency:
Degree in Business Analyst or Math or equivalent experience
Interest in computing programming ex JS, TypeScript, RESTful API
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent systems analysis skills with full development and application life-cycle model experience
Ability to assess problems and solve them with a strong sense of urgency
Ability to work with aggressive deadlines and to handle multiple responsibilities
Knowledge of network concepts
Good knowledge of JIRA, ServiceNOW CR and IR process, CMDB
Good knowledge of ServiceNOW event management
Good knowledge of AWS & Azure and certifications are preferred
Good knowledge of PowerBI, Apptio
Good knowledge of the financial services industry
Knowledge of Dynatrace, AWS OpenSearch, ElasticSearch (ELK)., AWS CloudWatch logs and AWS CloudWatch metric & also related price tiers
Knowledge of BMO Products would be an asset
Additional level of proficiency:
Experience in automation. Writing scripts in Python, workflows in Typescript, Jupiter Notebooks, etc.
Implement RESTful API services in any web framework
Understanding of API Authentication protocols
Provide production support and system adjustments iterations during project warranty periods
Salary:
$60,000.00 - $111,700.00Pay Type:

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
