ING Hubs Romania offers 130 services in software development, data management, non-financial risk & compliance, audit, and retail operations to 24 ING units worldwide, with the help of over 1700 high-performing engineers, risk, and operations professionals.
We started out in 2015 as ING’s software development hub – a distinct entity from ING Bank Romania – then steadily expanded our range to include more services and competencies.
Now we provide borderless services with bank-wide capabilities and operate from two locations: Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca.
Our tech capabilities remain the core of our business, with more than 1500 colleagues active in Data Management, Touchpoint Channels & Integration, Core Banking, and Global Products.

The mission
Tribe Payments ING Germany offers payment solutions for all our clients, internal and external. Simple, fast and secure: ‘You do your thing – we move your money’
In our international setup we introduce new payment features, services and products for our clients while also staying compliant with regulatory requirements. We are responsible to shape payment specific processes, whether optimize existing ones or establish new ones, and implement the respective requirements technically. In the Tribe we have many self-developed assets but also sourced assets which also brings interesting tasks to the mix.
Your day to day
You will develop forward-thinking product strategies and design, implement, and test new processes, products, and systems for our payment services, which you will subsequently launch.Keeping a keen eye on current market trends and our competition, you will analyze our existing processes, make necessary adjustments, and coordinate with involved interfaces and stakeholders.You will ensure that all relevant internal and external guidelines and regulations concerning European payment services are adhered to, and you will keep your colleagues up-to-date with clear working instructions and process documentation.You will address any questions that arise, whether in collaboration with external partners and service providers or in your role as a contact person for the applications and systems in use.What you’ll bring to the team
