Business Analyst Performance Product - Assistant Manager

We are seeking a growth-oriented professional in our Bangalore location with experience in Product Development and Product Management, preferably in an Investment Analytics reporting function of asset servicing industries. The successful candidate should also have a number of the Project Management and Analysis skills required to deliver new product capabilities or product enhancements

This team will report into Performance Analytics Product organisation.

What you will be responsible for

As a Performance Product Business Analyst, you will be responsible to:

Support demand management for multiple initiatives within the product group i.e capturing, prioritizing, and working with senior stakeholder for finalizing resourcing/funding.Develop product roadmaps, business cases, project objectives, operating models, product design, product requirements, process flows, and wireframes.Document project schedules, milestones, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, decisions, architecture, and cross product dependencies.Collaborate with and follow-through Service Delivery, Sales, Client Service, Technology, Product Management, and other internal stakeholders in the development and rollout of new products and product capabilities from their inception to eventual completion.Provide regular status updates and supporting program management reports as neededCommunicate with Agile scrum teams, business owners and product management, to ensure that  stakeholders at various levels are well informed, to learn and manage expectations, and to mitigate risks to keep the project roadmap on trackSupport product testing through the creation of test scripts, development of test data, and execution of user acceptance testingCollaborate closely with SQA and Development teams on delivery of fixes and enhancementData steward tasks for storiesBecome a subject matter expert for Performance & Analytics ApplicationsReview functionality and CUAT testingReview SQA defects and testing with SQAProduction Readiness:Write release notes, provide screenshots and details for training documentsWork with model office and business on rolling out and implementation of new capabilitiesProvide training on new capabilities and enhancementsSupport production deploymentsSupport large project implementations including client onboardingSupport operational changes to the business product, including documenting current state, transformation initiatives, and future stateIdentify opportunities for efficiencies (to improve productivity and performance) and drive delivery of such projects (automation, process improvements)

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years of work experience (exposure to product management function is valued.)Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Financial Management or equivalent.Advanced degrees in Finance or related professional certifications (CA/CFA/CIPM/CAIA or equivalent)Comfortable with quantitative methods and solutionsStrong technology insights with demonstrated ability to work across business lines/functionsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointPreferred Qualifications:Prior Product Management, Change Management, or relevant Consulting experienceKnowledge of Investment Performance Analytics and applicationsExperience with project management and documentation tools (eg: Confluence, Jira)Python (Pandas), SQL skills and experience with visualization software (eg: PowerBI, Qlik, etc)
