Your work environment:

As a Business Analyst you will join the Accounting Tribe within the Finance COO organisation. The Accounting Tribe sits right at the heart of the complexity of the bank. Within the Tribe, the Management Accounting area is servicing the global and local Finance organization of ING with solutions and applications around cost allocation, budgeting/forecasting, profitability analysis and management reporting.

We follow an agile way of working in which per area various squads have been defined. These are high performing, self-steering teams each with their own purpose. You will be part of a multidisciplined, international squad with frequent interaction with other departments in the ING Bank organization. The squad maintains one of the applications used by the Finance organization across ING. Openness in communication, working together and “can do” mentality are important characteristics of the team.

As a Business Analyst within the Management Accounting area, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the innovation and standardization of the Global Finance Reporting and Data landscape. You will drive:

Translate requirements from the user community into solution designsWork together with TECH engineers in the squad, test and implement functional changesConfiguration of the application, assessing performancePro-actively work on changes, take ownership for end-to-end deliveryCreate efficient data flows that fits the target architecture and data landscapeAssessing and solving issues and incidentsMaintain dialogue with internal stakeholders

Who are we looking for:

We are looking for a senior and all-round business analyst with IT skills and proven experience in the Finance domain. Someone who is capable of quickly understanding a complex environment and system landscape. Someone who enjoys working in a team of highly skilled professionals.

Strong analytical skills, accurate and critical mind-setBachelor/Master in a field which has equipped you with relevant knowledge and skillsAt least 4-5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in BankingExperience in the Finance domain, preferably within Controlling / Management AccountingStrong affinity with Technology and IT, capability to understand coding and scriptsExperience with Business Intelligence tooling such as OBIEE or Power BIAbility to work together with professionals from different backgrounds and culturesStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsFluency in English both written and verbal (work language)
