The Power global practice at Burns McDonnell is seeking to hire a Business Analyst to work in our Kansas City, MO office. As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with the Power business lines to evaluate, monitor, and influence the overall health of the business lines. This person will play a key role in aggregating and arranging data, building and maintaining resource management tools, and assist the business line leaders with organization and making informed decisions. In addition, the Business Analyst will maintain close coordination with the regional offices to help foster a collaborative environment with regards to opportunities, staffing, and business needs.

What you will do

Assists with business and financial analysis to measure the delivery of solutions, impacts and benefits.Assists in data modeling and financial summary development.Assists in implementation of business line initiatives, communicating implementation timelines and monitoring adoption.Assists with maintenance of accurate business line CRM data and providing updates.Assists with opportunity tracking and forecasting in CRM.Assist with technical analysis for resource planning.Assists in developing resource planning models and perform financial analysis using a variety of computer based software.Assist project managers, engineers and business line stakeholders to develop and incorporate technical assumptions regarding costs, operations, business line maintenance, and overall business health.Assists with developing reports and presentations.Assist with organizing data into report format and compile graphic illustrations of analysis findings.Assists with interpreting economic conditions and business implications.Assists with tracking key business trends such as chargeability, contingency/warranty percentages, etc. and provide updates to business line management on areas of concerns/actions
