ISS STOXX is seeking for a Business Analyst to join the Quantitative Data Analysis team based in Manila. The Business Analyst will be responsible for proper coordination and documentation between business group, data team, developers and testers for the enhancements and new requirements in the data collection tool.
The Business Analyst will also provide support in automating data checks, and in addressing data queries from business units and clients. Skills to deliver efficient and effective communication are also required. Trainings in programming and documentation on the data collection methodologies will be provided.
Responsibilities
Provide support to ensure that requirements from the business groups and the data collection team are thoroughly reviewed.Prepare specs are for the data collection tool, for enhancement projects and new data collection requirements.Properly coordinated with developers and testers to ensure that requirements are fulfilled before deployment to production. Conduct data analysis to support data operations and investigation of data issues; and provide workable solutions to issues encountered.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or data science and with basic programming skills.With at least 3-5 years relevant experience.Technical skills required include proficiency in writing SQL queries in MS SQL Server and a general understanding of databases.Demonstrated success in improving data quality and efficient data collections, strong detail-orientation a necessity.Strong problem-solving skills, and ability to understand business user requirements, assist in designing technical solutions, write manuals and conduct user trainings.Multi-tasking ability, including ability to be effective on multiple projects at one time.#LI-EA01
