Business Analyst (SAP WM Functional Consultant)

Job Location: Pune Hijewadi

Work Time: 2.30 pm to 11 pm

Work Mode: Hybrid

JOB SUMMARY:

The IT Business Analyst (SAP) will provide process and system support to our internal Behr customers in various countries. This individual will work closely with Business Analysts in the US and India across functional areas and partner with the business to provide assistance to functional users and act as liaison between the business and technical teams.  This includes gathering business requirements, translating them into functional requirements, recommending and implementing solutions by configuring SAP and working with ABAP developers and other technical teams to meet ongoing business needs. Must be ready and able to work flexible hours as needed

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work in collaboration with business and other IT staff to translate business requirements into functional specifications. Produce appropriate documentation and actively participate in development of technical and workflow solutions.Work closely with the SAP Development team to build technical solutions as per the business requirementTroubleshooting SAP system issues reported by the business users via Service Now Incidents and providing resolutionsResolving issues related to business use of implemented SAP modules or processes by working closely with ITBAs (in US & India), systems or process owners and project team to find acceptable solutionsDay to day support of departmental functions for the SAP Warehouse Management module; evaluate system requirements and implement solutions; configure, modify, and coordinate testing.Support different Warehouse functional areas i.e., Receiving, Putaway, Replenishment, Packing, Shipping, Cycle count and Physical Inventory, Yard Management, Cross Dock, Resource Management, Queue ManagementHands on experience with SAP WM Master Data and Configuration objects like Storage Types, Storage Sections, Bins, Quants, Storage Units, Search Strategies, Stock Removal Strategies, WM cycle counting, Control Cycles, Project Stock, Output configuration, RFIDs, RF Menu ManagementSupport & Enhance Company’s Mobile integrated solutions (ITS Mobile, Fiori APPs etc.)Create and provide quality training material and deliver training for user assistance and system usage.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: (Overall experience and years of experience in particular skill)

Bachelor’s degree required in computer science, business or related field3-5 Years of functional SAP experience in SAP WM ModuleProven understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies, as well as the specific requirements for maintaining systems in a regulated environmentProven ability to manage small to medium size projectsExperience in building & supporting integration with other modules and external systems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

Good written & verbal Communication skillsKnowledge of general business processes and functions preferably in a Manufacturing or Warehouse environment.Ability to manage small projects and activities related to ERP systemsAbility to establish effective interpersonal relationsExcellent communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organizationTime management skills & organizational skills including multi-taking and prioritize workload
