Responsibilities Core Tasks
Be a subject matter expert in the usage and content of The Library in updating and creating requirements for Sales Proposals and Functional SpecificationsHave a working knowledge of the current Swisslog Software Product Suite functionality and it’s operationProvide technical Sales SupportConduct Swisslog Software demonstrationsLead Software and Controls presentationsProvide Software and Controls hours estimatesProvide Software and Controls costingsParticipate in Requirements Gathering Workshops with customerProduce Software and/or Controls Sales ProposalsProduce Functional SpecificationsAssist in producing Host Interface SpecificationsProduce and maintain material used for Sales support and requirements gatheringResults Orientation
Deliver Sales Proposals and Functional Specifications for every assigned HUB project which are:compliant with the Swisslog process landscapewithin budgeton scheduleof high qualityclear, concise and completeEnsure that all presentations delivered to meetings attended with our customers meet or exceed customer expectations and are conducted in a consistent manner Technical/Commercial Knowledge
Have knowledge of the operation and functionality of the Swisslog Software and Controls Product SuiteKeep up to date with the latest release of Swisslog Software and Cotrols productsHave working knowledge of the Swisslog Process LandscapeHave working knowledge of the effort and work involved in delivering projects of varying sizes and complexity for both Swisslog and our customerHave working knowledge of the material available for conducting Sales Support Presentations and Requirements Gathering WorkshopsAttend Library Key User meetings when/if requested to do soHave an understanding of and be prepared to consult/present on the following subjects:Project execution toolsThe Library, Microsoft Project, Agile, Resource Planning etc.IT Hardware and infrastructurePLC/Controls Hardware and infrastructureSwisslog Material Handling Equipment capabilityCustomer Focus
Be accountable and deliver on internal and external customer commitments Understand and accurately record customer requirements under the instruction of a Solution ArchitectBuild a network of good working relationships with peers, internal customer and external customersStrive to deliver the best solutions to our customers, minimizing cost, risk and complexityPromote the Software and Controls HUB brand inside and outside of Swisslog by the the way you conduct and present yourself to them Analytical Thinking and Decision Making

Bachelor's Degree in engineering and/or computer scienceHave working knowledge of the Warehouse and Distribution business sectorHave working knowledge of Warehouse Management SystemsHave working knowledge and experience in requirements gathering for producing Sales Proposals, Change Orders ad/or Functional SpecificationsDesirable
Other software/controls product SME certificationHave working knowledge of PLC controls and control logicHave working knowledge of Material Flow Control SystemsHave previously worked in the role of a Solution Architect and/or Business AnalystHave experience in defining, procuring, installing and maintaining IT Hardware, Controls Hardware and their supporting infrastructure
