As the Business Analyst Store Projects, you are responsible to drive and implement the regional strategies for assortment optimization, setting omni commercial business case for store projects in your region. You collaborate and ensure fluent communication across store project teams, Expansion (Retail) and Merchandising. You work proactively to optimize assortment allocation, minimize business loss and secure high level of project implementation.
You have extensive knowledge in merchandising and strong understanding of allocation systems and parameters; analytical and business minded; knowledge and understanding of store projects flow with different investment levels; strong project management and project implementation skills.
Key responsibilities
Provide commercial input to the regional portfolio strategy by analyzing sales performance and understanding consumer demand through catchment area analysis.Ensure interior tracking is performed in your region every season and gather the needed input to understand ideal store space capacity for future projects. Participate and hold kick-off meetings for Expansion projects, collaborating with area teams, store teams, Visual Project Lead, and other relevant stakeholders.Execute allocation actions for all store projects (new stores, rebuilds, closures, and SP10), aligned with project phase planning and coordinating timeline with logistics and area teams.Provide relevant input to Lease Managers for signing packages for rebuilds, new stores, and consolidations; give data-based feedback to Store Design (global Retail) on layout capacity to maximize sales productivity.QualificationsTo be successful in the role of Business Analyst Store Projects, you should have a great business mindset combined with a visionary approach. You are a result-driven, strategic, and analytical person with a great business mindset.
What you need to succeed:
Formal education within a quantitative field such as Business/Economics or Finance considered meriting but not mandatory.2+ years of experience in merchandising or expansion function (projects and portfolio optimizationsStrong analytical skills and ability to set up a business case and calculate ROI. Strong project management skills – structured and organized and updating timelines, securing that deadlines are kept, and deliverables are meeting requirements. Understanding of expansion ways of working, processes, and existing portfolio management; supply chain and garment flow complexity; physical store operations and routines.Additional Information
