Your role and responsibilities

Are you passionate about business intelligence, strategy, and market analysis? We are looking for a motivated and analytical team player to join our Strategy & Business Development team on a part-time basis (2-3 days / week, approximately 70 hours per month). This position will start in the beginning of September 2025 and continuing as agreed or until end of April 2026. This role is based in our Marine & Ports division in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki.As part of our team, you will support business intelligence, strategy, and partnership activities. You will work closely with business teams to understand their data needs, translate requirements into analytics pipelines, and apply best practices in reporting, analysis, and research.This position is located in Helsinki, Finland.You will be mainly accountable for:• Conducting market intelligence research and preparing market outlook forecasts.• Monitoring industry trends, partnerships, and major investments to maintain an up-to-date view of key market players.• Tracking the performance of competitors and industry peers.• Supporting business case preparation and inorganic growth projects including company evaluations.• Supporting strategy process with data-driven insights.

Qualifications for the role

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finland (approx. 120 study credits) in Economics, Finance, Analytics or Business Administration. Passion for data analysis and business intelligence. Familiar with Excel and some experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI. A proactive mindset, with the ability to tackle challenges and adapt to dynamic situations. Strong interpersonal skills and a natural ability to network and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in English language.
