Summary
This position is responsible for the analysis, creation and distribution of information and insights within self-service applications utilized by internal account teams and key stakeholders. The role requires experience of taking business questions and requests, understanding how that relates to data, delivering automated solutions that meet the business needs, and support them with end users.
About the Department
Clinical Research & New Solutions develops, deploys and manages programs and capabilities rooted in health decision science. This department serves clients and patients through programs and services that support better drug choices, better pharmacy choices, and better health choices. The department includes Knowledge Solutions, Consumer Solutions, Research & New Solutions and Clinical Services. In Knowledge Solutions, which this role resides within provides best-in-class analytics to our customers by creating efficiencies via Self-Service tools, improved processes, and delivering new innovative Business Intelligence solutions to drive new sales, client retention and upsells.
Responsibilities
Building processes and reporting in SQL and VBA, supporting delivery of self – service reports, ad hoc and analytic requests
Creating documentation and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and create innovative reporting solutions with new technologies
Strong ability to collaborate with a number of cross functional key stakeholders to obtain consensus on multiple client and Evernorth deliverables
Being able to strategize, design and present new visualizations and client data insights to turn complex problems using large amounts of data into easily understandable and impactful analysis
Effectively communicate with user via a number of channels, including the ability to develop and deploy training plans to ensure users understand content
Understand user needs and ability to create interactive User Interfaces for users, leveraging Microsoft VBA and other appropriate solutions
Ability to mentor coworkers to share knowledge on technical and business use cases
Design and implement technical, business, and functional requirements for use by the team
Create and display quantitative information through charts, graphs, tables, and bespoke visualizations
Review and analyze results, assisting other business areas with issue resolution
Collaborate with Business users and internal teams to drive decision making to ensure that business needs are being met
Provide support as required to ensure the data availability and performance of enterprise data and BI environments for users
Develop and improve processes and documentation to support best practices in Data Visualization
Communicate project status and escalate issues as needed
Work on special projects as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree OR 5-8 years of experience without a Bachelor's degree
Strong experience in writing & understanding SQL queries, stored procedures & macros, table & view creation and other technical designs
Strong experience with Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications; including UI design and creation, macro creation and maintenance, advanced Excel analysis techniques
Experience with Python development, design, methodologies, tools and processes
Experience in Data Visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI
Familiarity with health care or PBM industry
Ability to provide innovative, practical, and consistent solutions
Demonstrated ability to prioritize work load and meet project deadlines via team collaboration
Adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and applications
Highly organized with strong documentation skills
