Summary:

The Information Services Business Analytics Manager is responsible for managing and developing the Business Analytics Team. The purpose of this team is to provide centralized and streamlined business intelligence to users throughout the health system. These responsibilities include managing an enterprise data warehouse (EDW), the developing of automated reporting systems, and providing actionable data analysis to leadership.

 

 

Experience/Education Requirements: Master's degree in Information Systems or Health Administration

Extensive knowledge of databases/SQLExperience providing data analysis in a healthcare settingAbility to develop analystsDemonstrated ability to communicate effectively with data, both in-person and through reports and dashboards

Compensation:

Minimum hourly rate: $54.62

Maximum hourly rate: $73.75

 

Responsibilities:
Analysts will serve as internal consultants, working with individual departments to determine data needs, streamline current processes and maximize internal expertise.Develop new skills, technology literacy, and tools that can be pushed out to the organization as a whole.Provide resources and expertise to answer questions big and small.Team will be able to retrieve and combine data from any of the multiple disparate repositories inside and outside the organization.Examples of these systems include internal resources such as HPM, Affinity, and Business Objects, as well as external resources like COMPdata, Hospital Compare (data download), and US Census database files.Team will maintain and deploy sophisticated tools that allow decision makers to see and utilize the actionable information that is most important to their area of responsibility.
