Job Description SummaryThe Business Insights Partner provides strategic business insights capabilities for the Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) team. You will work closely with the PDx Product Leadership team to plan for, and provide the necessary datapoints and insights to execute and deploy business strategies for Contrast Media and / or radiopharmaceuticals. You will collaborate with commercial, medical, clinical, marketing, market access & regulatory teams, as well as the launch excellence director, to gain latest insights/trends and translate their impact on current and future business strategy.
You will bring independent and strategic thinking to the NPIs (New Product Introductions), current portfolio, supporting and challenging where appropriate. You will play a key role in planning future projects, forming plans based on data gaps and considering strategic requirements. The role requires consolidation and triangulation of data and information from primary market research, voice of customer, secondary data sources and competitive intelligence to form insights and recommendations.
The role is part of the PDx (Pharmaceutical Diagnostics Business) Strategy and Evaluation Team, and reports directly to the Business and Market Insights Leader.
The Business Insights Partner runs market research projects autonomously, so requires extensive experience of executing market research programs, strong project management skills, quality control and vendor management. The ideal candidate should also have a solid understanding of the product lifecycle research steps and have experience in typical marketing and commercial pre-launch and post-launch activities. Some agency-side experience (market research or consulting) is desired.Job Description

Responsibilities
Lead the development of key strategic marketplace and customer insights through primary or secondary researchConsolidate and triangulate data and information from primary market research, secondary data sources and competitive intelligence into insights, create syntheses (proactively, where relevant) and make actionable business recommendationsSupport product leaders with development of robust insight-based business cases for NPIs, proactively suggest updates to existing business cases to reflect market dynamicsMonitor competitor activity, relaying important news to key stakeholders in a timely manner, and suggesting appropriate actions where relevantIdentify data gaps and generate an annual insights roadmap for the different brands, including the timelines, methodologies, and budget needed to deliver the roadmapWork in close collaboration with Marketing to develop Value Propositions, support them with the development of marketing materials to ensure alignment with insights and strategyExecute market research projects, including vendor selection and management, engaging with cross-functional teams to get inputs as appropriate throughout the project. Act as a filter between vendor and team, e.g. managing conversations, reviewing materials / presentations to ensure quality and most efficient use of other internal stakeholders’ time. Oversee the development of the final report, ensuring business objectives are addressed and actionable recommendations are developed. Facilitate the delivery of the project readout, leading workshops where relevant. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to form action plans, ensuring implementation of the insightsThis role can be remote and based anywhere in the UK.
