The Opportunity:
Fostering a culture of cybersecurity excellence to protect Patient Safety, Customer’s Trust and Roche’s Reputation. The North American (NAM) Business and Product Security Expert will collaborate with the business and support organizations to help advance their strategies and help manage cybersecurity risk across products, processes and people.
Key Responsibilities:
As a part of the NAM Diagnostics Business and Product Security Team, your main focus will be to enable the success of business while raising cybersecurity awareness to support Roche’s Posture across our commercial and enterprise operations.
You foster a culture of cybersecurity excellence to protect patient safety, customer trust, and Roche's reputation by educating the organization, acting as a risk advisor, staying engaged with industry trends, and identifying best practices to enhance business success.
You help represent the NAM Business and Product Security Team with regards to working with Canadian Affiliate Operations and Governing Bodies.
You engage in outside organizations and stay aware of industry trends to determine how they will impact Roche, our customers and the healthcare industry.
You drive key initiatives in cybersecurity within the organization to help business success.
You are the go-to person for your business area for all things cybersecurity to raise awareness, help identify any risk and ensure a successful go-to-market for products and their support lifecycle.
You help support conversations and responses to challenging cybersecurity from internal and external customers.
You help influence decision making and help shape the cybersecurity posture across products and processes for the NAM organization and global teams.
You look for opportunities to share information and identify best practices across the organization and between countries.
Who you Are:
Bachelor degree in informatics, life-sciences or equivalent work experience
7+ years’ experience in large global enterprise IT environment within the information security organization
In-depth knowledge of HIPAA Data Privacy & Security Rule
Preferred Qualifications:
French speaking requirement based on key duties outlined above
Bachelor degree in informatics, life-sciences or equivalent work experience
Industry recognized certification(s) in the relevant area like CISSP or CISM
6+ years experience in a large global enterprise IT environment within the information security organization
Experience working in a regulated environment of the healthcare, diagnostics, and/or pharmaceutical industry with Information Security
Broad and strong experience in the area of Information Security, IT Risk Management, and IT Audit
Strong project management, analytical skills, stakeholder management and business acumen
Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills
Ability to travel as required up to 20%
Experience working in an international environment with people from multiple cultures
Demonstrated ability to handle difficult conversations at a C-Suite level.
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indianapolis, IN is $121,800.00 - $226,200. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
