Business Applications Analyst Our Business Applications Analysts function as a conduit between customer community and Information Systems team through which requirements flow. The Business Analyst’s primary responsibility is to elicit, analyze, and validate the real needs of the project stakeholders including customers and end users. They works with Programmers, P/A, Project Managers and Directors of IT resources to provide the organization with recommendations and solutions. Responsibilities Translate business requirements into technical specifications, designing the architecture of the omnichannel solution within the Manhattan Active platform, including data flows, integrations, and system interfaces. Implementation & Development: Build and configure the Active Omni system, including customizations, integrations with other systems (ERP, CRM, WMS), and data mapping to ensure smooth data exchange. Integration Management: Manage the integration points between different systems, utilizing APIs and orchestration tools to ensure seamless communication across channels. Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams through the project lifecycle, overseeing requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support. Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve issues within the Active Omni system, providing technical support to business users and operations teams. Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements to maintain optimal efficiency and customer experience. Required Qualifications Deep understanding of the Manhattan Active platform, particularly its Omni-channel capabilities, including order management, inventory management, and fulfillment functionalities. Proficiency in programming languages used within the Manhattan Active ecosystem, such as Java, .NET, or similar. Expertise in API integration, data mapping, and middleware technologies to connect diverse systems. Ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions, considering customer experience and operational efficiency. Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and system administrators. 5 years working within ERP usage, application knowledge and at least 3 years responsibility for medium to large project work BA in MIS, Computer Science, CIS, Supply Chain or related field Travel: Ability to travel up to 5% of the time This is a remote role and does not offer sponsorship or the take over of sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
