Business Architect
We are looking for someone who can get to the heart of how our business operates. You will need an eagerness to learn and an ability to not only adapt to new technologies and methodologies, but to champion improvements at all levels of the organisation. We need someone with a proactive attitude, comfortable with taking initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and isn't afraid of ambiguity or challenging the status quo. You will need to show resilience in overcoming obstacles, driving forward changes in collaboration with key stakeholders. Accountabilities • Support the Head of Business Architecture with developing and implementing the Business Capability Map, Value Streams and relevant Information models that measure our health as an organisation. • Build up a strong stakeholder network across different departments and teams to understand current issues and what they need to achieve their goals & objectives • Contribute to maturing our organisation by defining change initiatives that enhance business capabilities and demonstrate the value to stakeholders in a meaningful way • Find ways to improve efficiency & effectiveness and present recommendations for organisational improvements • Engineer & document business processes and develop associated metrics to be able to continuously measure performance • Support the development of Business Cases to secure funding for transformational programmes of work. • Continuously learn about new business and technology trends to improve your skills and knowledge and identify synergies that will benefit the organisation. Qualifications • Previous experience working in a Business Architect role (or as a Lead Business Analyst) • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders, gather requirements, and present findings. • Strong analytical skills to identify problems, propose solutions, and drive implementation plans forward. • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with different departments and stakeholders. • Manage difficult conversations and conflicting stakeholder perspectives • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all deliverables. • Adaptable with strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. • Knowledge of Architecture Frameworks (i.e., TOGAF) and Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) is advantageous LexisNexis, a division of RELX, is an equal opportunity employer: qualified applicants are considered for and treated during employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin, citizenship status, disability status, protected veteran status, age, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law.
