Position Overview:
The Business Architect will play a critical role in aligning business strategy with HomeServe’s architectural framework, ensuring that processes are efficient, scalable, and capable of supporting HomeServe’s long-term goals. This individual is a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, driving innovation and organizational growth. The business architect will be responsible for helping identify and manage resistance to change, driving business readiness, and suggesting new ways of working. The role will support driving change within the organization, ensuring that changes are effectively communicated and adopted.
Responsibilities:
Solution Design
Develop and maintain comprehensive business architecture models that align with the organization’s strategic objectives Design and optimize end-end business processes to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness which align with the overall enterprise architecture and strategic goals Identify opportunities for technological advancements and process improvements across the enterprise, integrating them into the business architecture
Functional & Technical Development
Apply a cross-functional lens to drive business solutions that are effective, efficient, aligned with HomeServe's objectives, and appropriately documented Understand and drive end-to-end (E2E) business processes, identifying and supporting change across the program Lead workshops and discussions with business units to gather input and foster collaboration across the organization Provide guidance and support during the implementation of business solutions, ensuring they meet requirements and deliver intended outcomes
People Leadership and Collaboration
Collaborate with Product Owners and Business and Technical Leadership Center of Excellence (COE) to determine areas of overlap, dependency, or conflict when considering end-end processes that may cover multiple product owner scope areas Support Product Owners and COE by guiding and aligning the wider program on design decisions and large business process changes, setting standards, and facilitating consensus building Monitor industry trends and advancements to ensure the organization remains competitive and innovative
Operational Excellence
Ensure business processes and systems adhere to regulatory requirements and standards Oversee application of standardized change management protocols Create and understand drive end-to-end (E2E) business processes, identifying and supporting change across the program Ensure all changes are communicated with the key project members for alignment and awareness which may involve training sessions, workshops and creating documentations Regularly review processes, requirements and project scope to monitor for any project timeline and cost impacts; escalate severe problems of any impact on business’ requirements
Documentation Management
Create and document listed documents/processes/workflows/protocols related to the project architecture (not limited to the list below): Enterprise business capability model Business architecture blueprints Requirements Process flows Change management protocols Compliance Stakeholder communications Risk management plan Performance metrics Training materials

Job Requirements:
Experience
3-5 years of proven experience in business architecture, strategy development, or a related field with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various levels Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, CBAP) is preferred

Strong Knowledge of HomeServe’s business, internal processes, and key internal stakeholders Strong relationships with program resources Strong understanding of business process modeling and enterprise architecture frameworks Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions Proficiency in business architecture tools and methodologies Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Strategic thinking and the ability to align business objectives with architectural solutions Leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change within the organization

Salary Range: $153,749.12 - $204,998.84
Annual Bonus Potential: 20%
