Business Architect - Enterprise Service Management

Introduction to the job

ASML has set-up a Global Business Services (GBS) organization, called ASML Business Services (ABS). The organization covers the execution and delivery of Finance, Vendor, Customer, Master data, HR and IT operations. ASML Business Services’ vision is to deliver world-class transactional & operational support services organized around E2E processes. Within the organization there is a Capability Center that supports the operations delivery teams in deploying cross-functional continuous improvements, standardizing ways of working, embedding new capabilities (automation), bringing innovation and owning Enterprise Service Management.

As an Enterprise Service Management Architect, you will be responsible for creating guidance, setting boundaries/policies and creating/managing the roadmap for the Enterprise Service Management Framework, processes (e.g., request management, incident management, case management, problem management, change management, Service Management), Support Channels (Call, click, chat, face) and platforms globally. You will be providing architectural direction for the key solutions and platforms to ASML Business Services and you will be applying a user-centric mindset to your work when considering architectural choices. Additionally, you will be working closely with and in IT Agile Release Train for the related platforms being ServiceNow or other key platforms.

Role and responsibilities

Develops and maintains architectural procedures, policies and governances for Enterprise Service Management;Guards the Enterprise Service Management system and ensures fit for purpose processes based on standards;Drives standardization, compliance to agreed Enterprise Service Management framework;Gives guidance for (designing and) maintaining fit-for-purpose Enterprise Service Management processes; Service Model, Support channels, governance;Defines architectural direction to solutions related to Enterprise Service Management;Gives guidance for supporting tooling to be implemented;Provides advice to operational delivery on the impact of processes;Collaborates with the IT Solution architects to develop, analyze, split and realize the implementation of solutions.

Education and experience

8-10 years relevant working experience in either a Business/Enterprise Architect or a Business Process Owner role preferably within a GBS/Shared Service organizationDeep understanding of an Enterprise Service Management framework and processes including how such processes are supported by state of the art solutions Preferably experience and knowledge from a multinational organization
