Citizens Bank is seeking an experienced Business Banking Market Executive, for the Mid-Atlantic region, who will play a pivotal role in driving a programmatic approach across their franchise, focusing on colleague development, operational routines, customer acquisition and retention, and talent management. The Market Executive will excel in assessing strengths and weaknesses within the team, resulting in proactively developing capabilities, and channeling progress through the Market Managers. Furthermore, they will ensure that Relationship Managers (RMs) are set up for success by delivering targeted coaching and development to Market Managers, as well as through selective hiring practices. As champions of business line priorities and advocates for change management, the Market Executive is vital during times of significant transformation. They maintain strong cross-divisional connections and possess the influence needed to achieve desired outcomes. Their ability to lead and manage through change, coupled with their expertise in fostering talent and driving business growth, makes them key drivers of success for the organization as a whole. As the face of their market, these leaders have an active presence in their communities with strong ties to both the customers we serve and organizations with whom we partner.
Job Responsibilities
Align effective risk management practices across multiple domains including Credit, Regulatory, Operational and Behavioral and regulatory expectations to ensure consistency, accountability and effectiveness.Create and execute a strategic plan that enables their team to generate new business and manage portfolio customers in the $1-50MM space, meeting their sales goals.Consistently ensure sales success through developing, managing, and coaching a team of Market Managers and their teams of Relationship Managers. Deliver a differentiated customer experience, by coaching team to exceed customer experience goals and meet all customer commitments and customer care expectations.Build and maintain new business relationships within the marketplace. Develop strong internal partnerships within Citizens and leverage them for sales success.Maintain visibility in the market by taking an active role in community and civic organizations and developing strategic community relationships and internal partnerships. Employ, engage, and retain a high performing workforce with a strong culture.Requirements
10+ years upper Business Banking and/or lower Middle Market coverage & portfolio management experienceDemonstrated success in creating a culture of development and career growthHigh degree of emotional intelligenceFormal commercial credit training requiredDetailed understanding of commercial credit and cash managementPrior experience in Mid-Atlantic territory including greater Philadelphia area Ability to travel across the regionHours and Work Schedule

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
