Job Duties:
+ Responsible for the credit competency and profitability of the Business Banking region.
+ Responsible for safety, soundness and client and associate satisfaction and retention.
+ Approves and assists with the creation and implementation of Business Center business plans.
+ Partners with others on the senior management team to strategically deploy resources to maximize individual and team performance and meet Region and Division small business lending goals.
+ Analyzes and controls expenditures of the Region to conform to budgetary requirements.
+ Continually surveys the market area to update and implement appropriate business plans.
+ Effectively monitors the Business and Professional Banking Relationship Managers' responsibilities of acquiring, managing and growing profitable account relationships with an emphasis on moderately complex and medium sized business.
Qualifications:
+ Requires a Bachelor's in Business Administration, Finance or other related field and 10+ years in business banking sales and credit management
+ Preferred 5 years managerial experience.
+ An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
+ Employs advanced knowledge of all areas of credit, including commercial, real estate, and/or business sales and lending.
+ Must have demonstrated sales experience, negotiation skills, portfolio management skills, basic accounting and small business credit underwriting skills.
+ Must be familiar with regulatory issues and financial reporting.
+ Must have advanced leadership and mentoring skills.
