Position: Business Center Operations Intern

Nations Roof is excited to offer an internship opportunity to work across various departments to gain hands-on experience in business operations, including customer account management, invoicing, vendor management, and financial processes. You will learn key skills in business operations, shadow cross-functional teams, and actively contribute to special projects that enhance company efficiency and growth.
College graduates are not eligible to participate in the internship program but are encouraged to apply to any open positions.
Key Responsibilities:
Cross-Departmental Learning: Collaborate with teams from Customer Service, Finance, Vendor Management, and Operations to gain a comprehensive understanding of business functions and day-to-day operations.Special Projects: Assist with initiatives focused on process improvement, data analysis, and system upgrades, under the guidance of department leaders.Customer Communication & Account Management: Gain experience in customer communications, supporting inbound/outbound calls, updating customer records, and resolving discrepancies.Invoicing & Financial Processes: Learn the essentials of invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and assist with customer account setup and maintenance. Support financial reporting and data entry tasks.Vendor Management: Support vendor-related tasks by tracking performance using KPIs, assisting in managing vendor communications, and participating in vendor contract reviews and onboarding processes.Data Management & Documentation: Assist with organizing and updating databases, preparing reports for special projects, and maintaining accurate records to ensure operational efficiency.Project Coordination & Support: Help schedule meetings, manage timelines, and support teams in achieving project goals and deadlines. Learn about project management tools and techniques.Administrative Support: Aid in scheduling meetings, preparing post-meeting summaries, and performing essential administrative tasks like document filing and task tracking.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong Communication Skills:Ability to clearly communicate with team members, customers, and vendors, both verbally and in writing.Process Optimization Skills:
Ability to identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements to workflows, helping to streamline operations, preferred.Analytical Skills:
Strong ability to analyze data and extract meaningful insights to inform operational decisions and improvements.Organizational Skills:
Ability to manage multiple tasks and initiatives simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and an eagerness to learn new software tools (CRM, project management tools).Adaptability & Eagerness to Learn:
Willingness to take on new challenges, learn about different business functions, and adapt to changing priorities
