Job description
The Business Central Specialist will work closely with technical business partners and team members across various departments to support and enhance the adoption of Business Central and LS Retail throughout the company.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
* Manage enterprise applications, including Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, LS Retail, Zetadocs Document Management, Jet Reports, and Power BI.
* Oversee daily management of Service Desk escalations related to Business Central and LS Retail.
* Collaborate primarily with the Finance Team and other departments to identify, document, and communicate business needs, providing technical solutions.
* Train end users on Business Central and LS Retail, including onboarding new employees, creating training plans, materials, user guides, and delivering training sessions.
* Document project life cycles to ensure best practices.
* Ensure compliance with change management controls throughout the product lifecycle.
* Conduct gap analysis between current processes and best practices.
* Analyze, track, and resolve root causes of defects.
* Work with the QA lead to develop testing documentation, including test plans, scripts, exceptions, follow-up, resolution, and identifying areas for improvement.
* Seek innovative ways to streamline processes across business units.
* Participate in maintaining the Microsoft Dynamics Business Central/LS Retail infrastructure and provide guidance to team members as needed.
* Collaborate with the IT department management team in administering and supporting enterprise applications and systems.
Benefits:
* Salary of $100,000 to $125,000 DOE
