Business Change Partner

Change Management Expert IV is seen as an Individual Contributor within their team. They are competent at managing their time, have strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, are able to deliver consistent results and are self-directed. They do not manage other individuals; however, they are expected to informally mentor junior members within your team. They have a proven ability to lead teams or work streams. As an individual contributor they are considered a member of a group or team focused on delivering business goals by follow structured processes and procedures to deliver results. Share responsibility with other team members to ensure on-time product delivery, which requires a clear understanding of expectations and capabilities as well as the ability to act effectively as a team member. Individual contributor that has demonstrated the ability to effectively provide direction on complex scenarios that lead to process change.

Note: This role will have dual reporting structure; The Change Management Expert, APAC Connect PPG S/4 Transformation will report to the People Readiness Lead role within the program, and organizationally report to the Senior Manager of PPG’s Global Business Services Change Management Office.

Key Responsibilities/Skills:

Assessing and understanding the current state of the organization’s capacity for change and identifying the gaps and opportunities for improvementIdentification and analysis of change impacts related to the APAC regionDesigning and delivering effective communication and change management plans that foster transparency, collaboration, and feedbackChange strategy and consulting support for APAC regionEstablishing and executing change tactics to support overall regional change needs, including but not limited to:Supporting and executing people readiness objectives that enable PPG S/4 TransformationIntroducing and driving adoption targets of new data standards and processesSupport Activation and adoption of a new system changes for PPGIncreased leadership responsibilities, and/or increased specialization. This level would be more involved in internal discussion with the change team's leadership; asked for input from their team or area of specializationConducts thorough investigations to identify key stakeholders impacted by the changeDetermines appropriate timing of that change. Identifies potential challenges for stakeholders, such as skills gaps, doubts and uncertainties, to foster a positive acceptance of changeTailors change management plans (training and mitigation) to accommodate the needs of the different stakeholder groups impactedLeads by example, demonstrating commitment, professionalism, and strong work ethicFosters a culture of communication and productive work environment by promoting teamwork and effective communicationCompletes tasks and responsibilities within a matrixed organizationMeasuring and evaluating the impact and outcomes of the people readiness activities and interventionsPromoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation by soliciting and incorporating feedback and best practices

Preferred Qualifications

Professional with minimum of 5-7 Years of relevant experience in change management and/ technology or business-related transformation supportA bachelor’s degree in business, technology, organizational change management, communications, or a related fieldProfessional Certification in Organizational Change management (Procsi, etc) preferredExperience in cross-functional areas or participation of cross-functional initiativesExceptional written and oral communication skills — essential for interacting with keystakeholders across the project, so as to manage, inform and influence successful program outcomesStrong understanding of change management methodologies, approaches and toolsGood working knowledge of industry-standard project management methodologiesMust be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through othersSelf-driven with commitment to delivering high quality work in a dynamic fast paced environmentInterpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels within the enterpriseSelf-driven with commitment to delivering high quality work in a dynamic fast paced environmentHigh emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivityA passion for people and a drive for excellenceEnglish and Mandarin speaking abilities is a requirementAdditional APAC language speaking is an added advantageMust have worked on global-based projects
