James Martin Vanities is currently seeking an individual to fill an immediate need for a Business Channel Specialist to drive our business. This position will play a pivotal role in driving category growth, assuming responsibility for a set budget and sales goal. Through innovative sales strategies and keen market insights, the role will contribute to increasing revenue and positioning the James Martin Vanities Brand for success.
Location: This role is approved to be either Remote in the United States or Hybrid in South Bend, IN, in accordance with company policy.
Primary ResponsibilitiesPartner with leadership and Regional Directors to develop and implement business plans for JMV productsConduct research and analysis of business opportunities, consistent with the organization's long range and strategic plansCollaborate on execution of plans for regional markets in alignment with growth strategyPlanning and preparation of business proposals and make recommendations to senior managementWork closely with Ferguson’s National Accounts and OBBP teams to assist in driving growthWork closely with JMV External Sales Rep Agencies to assist in driving growthAct as liaison between Category Management and the branches / fieldPartner with Category Management to evaluate and select vendors, expand current offerings and continuously evaluate channel optionsLead all aspects of the development of key projects and is accountable for the successful closure of business dealsResponsible for the overall development, implementation and progress of strategic business targetsDevelop new processes to meet project needs, and for designing projects to suit the financial and operating criteria of a projectPrepare documents and materials (for example, reports, presentations, information packages) for meetings and discussions with potential clients and business partners so that the information provided is accurate and appropriate for external distributionMaintain contact with the key decision makers internally and externallyMay assist with special analysis in areas such as operational efficiency, market penetration and profitabilityPreferred Qualifications5+ years’ of sales experience is required, experience in Our Brand products is preferredBachelor’s Degree, however, equivalent work experience will also be consideredProven track record of attaining maximum sales results through successful interaction with established customers and new prospectsPassion for excellent customer service and strive to exceed sales targetsOutstanding negotiating, problem solving, and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational, planning, and follow-up skillsGood eye for business and high integrityAbility to make effective presentations and project recommendationsValid driver’s license required, role requires regular travel to customer HQ or jobsite locations as well as participation in customer/vendor lunch and learn sessions as well as customer events or trade showsProficient use of technology to drive business results, ability to adjust and ramp up on new software programs quickly (Microsoft Office 365, Power BI, CRM, Oracle ERP, etc.)At James Martin Vanities, we care for each other. Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.
